Intentionally Unfunny Stand-up Comedy Night

A Laugh Club Experiment at The Tram (Tremontaine Café, Utica)

Join Laugh Club for an intentionally unfunny night of stand-up comedy where the jokes will NOT be funny… but we’ll laugh anyway!!!

This is a low-key, no punchlines required, welcoming open-mic style event where anyone can hop up for 2–5 minutes and say something ordinary, mundane, or completely pointless, and the audience will crack up laughing.

*Note: No mean spirited or rude humor. This isn’t a roast, insult comedy, or edgy open mic. The unfunniness is meant to be kind, harmless, everyday thoughts.

The goal of Laugh Club isn’t comedy. It’s connection. By laughing together on purpose even when nothing is “funny,” we explore how laughter connects us, creates belonging, shared joy, and acceptance.
