Join The Inner Child Club!
The Inner Child Club is an ever-growing community art exhibit celebrating the younger curious, weird, brave, shy, loud, imaginative, dramatic, joyful, messy, magical, and totally pure inner child in us all!
Because being a kid isn’t something you grow out of!
We’re asking people of all ages to submit two photos:
photo of you as a young child — ideally one that captures your inner child spirit.
photo of you now — the grown-up version with that same little kid inside.
Together, these photos will become part of a massive online gallery here on The Art Thing website, as well as real-world community gallery exhibits shared across the Mohawk Valley.
Let’s turn the Mohawk Valley into one big community class photo of the human spirit and show the world that the kids we once were are still here and very much alive in all of us.
Join The Inner Child Club:
📸 Step 1: Upload your childhood photo, your current photo, and a short caption below.
Your caption can be a memory, a message, a phrase, or something your inner child would want to say.
Examples:
“Still making magic out of nothing.”
“She never stopped believing.”
“He’s still in there causing problems.”
💝 Step 2: Make a Donation
10% of Inner Child Club donations will support local children’s organizations, while the rest helps us keep bringing free, community-powered Art Things like this to life.
