The Story …THING!? is coming to the Little Falls Public Library
Calling All Young Story Detectives!
SomeTHING strange has been spotted… traveling through time and space!
SomeTHING mysterious is happening this year at the Little Falls Public Library… a mysterious THING… appearing, disappearing, and leaving behind a trail of clues.
No one seems to know exactly what it is. Or where it came from. Or what it’s doing here.
BUT you can help our interdimensional time traveling detectives figure it out!
Join The Art Thing for a playful, interactive storytelling experience where kids become investigative storytellers, tracking clues and working together to uncover the mystery of the “THING.”
Participants will:
Track sightings of the creature as it appears and dissappears
Gather clues and observations about what it’s doing and why
Ask questions and form theories
Help come up with a shared story based on what we discover
As the event unfolds, the story will grow, shift, and branch, shaped by the perspectives and ideas of everyone involved.
Because in this world… what happened depends on who tells the story!
This playful, immersive experience introduces participants to the building blocks of storytelling:
How stories are constructed
How perspective changes meaning
How details are interpreted differently
How multiple versions of a story can exist at once
