Meet Art’s Inner Child

The Art Thing’s President plays a very important role in the organization. He is a Director of Education at 4 Elements Studio, a master ceramic artist, and a world traveler on top of being on the TAT board- that’s why it’s essential for him, our very own Vartan Poghosian, to access his inner child! One of the goals of The Art Thing is all about creating experiences that help reconnect you to your inner child. Just like we believe that art belongs to everyone, everywhere, and should be shared across communities we believe that everyone should have equal access to their inner child. Tapping into that part of ourselves is where the magic happens. It’s where you see things with fresh, clear eyes and you can begin to do things you didn’t realize were possible. Reconnecting to your inner child means you can lasso the moon down from the sky, slay dragons from your bedroom, and explore other worlds from the fort in your friend’s backyard. Your inner child helps you turn on that imagination brain, see your surroundings from a whole new vantage point, and experience the world as a brand new you.
